What do we do?

Friends of Walton Colliery Nature Park is a voluntary group which was set up in 2009 by a small number of people who enjoyed using the beautiful Nature Park. The group has grown from strength to strength and is run by a Committee who meet 6 times a year. The Committee comprises people from a variety of backgrounds with varied interests in the Park e.g. - Walking, Dog walking, Angling, Wildlife enthusiasts. 
The group organise monthly work sessions which anyone can join in with. These are advertised in the noticeboard in the car park and on the Friends of Walton Colliery Facebook page.
